For the last few nights the toads have been "singing" really loudly. Out looking for love I guess, because, today while cleaning my pond I found a happy toad couple and their strands of pearly babies.

I love them, too! I once tapped a mating couple on the head and he responded with urgent, angry high-pitched screeches that meant, "Back OFF! I am busy here!" So funny. They are fascinating and lovely creatures.
